Ausgezeichnete Resultate

Everyday a new achievement

When I was discharged form the hospital in Basel, I was so weak that I could hardly walk. It was frustrating to see that shadow that was me, after isolation. What a gratifying experience to watch my progress everyday for the last 4 weeks. I began walking in the hospital's apartment in Basel: one way, and then I had the strength to do both. Then I began climbing the stairs of the apartment building: one floor; the following week two; then the 4; then I had the strength and will to go for a walk in Basel; travel by train and risk managing all the connections; now I even feel like exercising daily with my crosstrainer; I can do crossword puzzles; have the will to read and so, everyday I have a new achievement and am overall grateful.

Hallo Luzern

Hi Luzern!

Today I came back to my second home in 2009, Luzern´s Cantonal Hospital, after more than two months, for my weekly check-up and Thank God, everything is fine. My blood values are normal and my body is recuperating little by little after the transplant. I have to be very careful no to catch an infection. The doctor is very satisfied and even allowed me to exercise, without exaggerating of course. It’s very cold and snowy to walk outside at present, so my sports routine will be done from my cross trainer at home.

Felicidades.

Goodbye 2009

Before 2010 arrived, I was convinced that I wanted to erase 2009 from my calendar, forget it, leave it behind! But I cannot and should not do it. Even tough it has been a very difficult year, it has had positive things, I have learned valuable lessons that don't come across easily and that is an opportunity to grow as a human being that cannot be dismissed easily.2010 began well, stable, easy. I hope it continues to be so and becomes a good year for me and you. Greetings!
